Black tea should be steeped for 3 - 5 minutes
with boiling water.
Black tea contains approximately 30 - 40 mg of caffeine
per cup. In comparison, the same amount of regular coffee contains approximately
110 - 120 mg of caffeine.
You can remove approximately 80% of the caffeine
from any cup of tea by steeping the tea for 30 seconds and then pouring
that tea down the drain, refilling your cup with boiling water and continue
steeping with the same tea for the desired amount of time. Black tea is
full of antioxidants.
